Criteria

Admission is available to children and adults. Children of age five or older are eligible to join the school and will start out in the Beginners level and progress through the various stages as they become more proficient in the dance.  Adults of all levels of capability are also welcome to join. Adults who have some background or proficiency will start out with the adult classes and progress to private lessons if desired. Adults with no prior background in Bharatnatyam will typically join the Intermediate or Senior classes first to gain an introduction to the dance. The School is considering a Beginning Adult program if there is sufficient interest.
