A dance drama for SAWERA – South Asian Women’s Empowerment and Resource Alliance, 2013.
The production was scripted and choreographed by Shivy Vanka . The Kalabharthi Dance Company together with Mini Jairaj, presented this to the music of Ravi Shankar, Anoushka Shankar, Hariprasad Chaurasia to name a few. Choreography and dance by Shivy Vanka included the two loved poems of Maya Angelou -” The Caged Bird” and “Rise”

The production details the dancer’s journey as she progresses from the very physical beginning of learning dance.
